"Innocent Eye does not exist"

Zamosc Photographic Society is not slowing down! Already on April 5 at 16:00 vernissage will be held on the next exhibition of photography.

The project "Innocent Eye does not exist" of Wojciech Wilczyk consists of photographs of former Jewish synagogues, midrash, private houses of prayer. Many of the buildings fell into disrepair and was adopted as part of the funeral home, warehouse, shop, fire station, residential, cinema, home office, clinic, school, bank house of culture, libraries, warehouses and stores, supermarkets, abandoned and dilapidated old warehouses Agricultural Cooperatives. Photographer shows that what at first glance is the same as our everyday landscape, it really carries a powerful symbolism and recalls the great culture that accompanied Poland for thousands of years. The design and the pictures are remarkable record of the time and we do, we celebrate the Jewish heritage in our country. It is, absolutely necessary, to deal with the truth.
The exhibition will be open from 5 April to 06 May 2013.
Wojtek Wilczyk - (ur.1961) photographer and art critic. Graduate of Polish philology at the Jagiellonian University. Photographs since 1988. Author of many documentary projects.
