| Caption | Project No. 3 I have only been photographing for a few years. The series I'm presenting are memories from my childhood. Every morning I had to walk through the dark forest to get to the bus stop from where I was going to school, I was 7 years old then. I remember the forest road in the morning and the anxiety that accompanied me then. When the day woke up, I saw light. It illuminated the fragments of trees, the road and grass where I could see colors appearing. On the border of night and day, as well as grayness and color. Years later, I decided to recreate these pictures and this is how the series "Magic of an Ordinary Moment" was created. Art Photography Awards 2018. "I enjoyed looking at your work and I find your images to be very evocative and very emotional. There is a very personal point of view that does not only show me the external, that which you are photographing but something more esoteric which deals with the photographer. I find this to be a strong quality for the work which aims to find a way to move away from the subject-matter and offer something that becomes formally appealing but also storytelling. Making the viewer look and feel is always the best ingredient for success and you are successful in doing so in these images." |
