Exhibitions - EASTERN 2015
Event runs from Jul 16, 2015 to Aug 16, 2015 (Zamość)
This year’s edition includes 6 photo exhibitions touching wide Eastern matter. We are going to see individual exhibitions of Nikita Shokhov, Sasha Maslov, Wojtek Moskwa and Tomek Kulbowski. Kiev Photoclub 9x12 and Zamojskie Towarzystwo Fotograficzne are going to present their group exhibitions.
We’re starting on 16th July!
Wschodnia has got many definitions. It is not just the place. We find it as an adjective rather than a noun. With our festival we want not only to present but to describe the place and also some features, states, stages or phenomena.
Our project’s strength lies in its multithread. Accents often place in opposite poles. Eastern is something you cannot pass by listlessly. It’s a very distinct place which you – in its pieces or in total – love or hate. Eastern is calm and charming, touching but irritating as well. It’s not the place with no echo. It leaves a clear mark not only in visitors, but also among inhabitants.
